Moussa Dembele Favours Manchester United Move Over Chelsea
Lyon striker, Moussa Dembele, is reportedly poised for a transfer to Manchester United after favouring them over Chelsea in his bid to the leave the Ligue 1 side in summer.
United are confident they will secure the player's £60million move to Old Trafford since he has ruled Chelsea out leaving them in the pole for signing according to Daily Star.
United does not seem likely to keep their loan striker Odion Ighalo who is under pressure to return to Shanghai Shenhua on loan contract expiration. Dembele, who scored 16 goals in 27 league games might be the next striker to team up with Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial in the attack.
The Frenchman's quest to leave Lyon, just as some of his teammates, is because of the team's failure to make Champions League slot this season as they finished the season in the seventh position.
Meanwhile, the club's president Jean-Michel Aulas is not disposed to losing his players and told a French publication that he would do "everything to keep the players" except those who are "programmed" leave for the reason of not participating in European football next season.
