Manchester United Ready For Massive Transfer Swoop That Runs Into Over £220M
Manchester United want it all in the next transfer window with a planned triple swoop on three football rising starlets that will run into massive spending of £220 million. They are topping up their transfer interest with sensational teenage player Jude Bellingham from Birmingham FC.
The teenager, 16, is reportedly closely monitored by Ole Gunnar Solksjaer and he intended to start him off in his first-time role on his arrival at the club according to Evening Standard. The EFL Championship side has a huge fee of £50 million for the English starlet.
Already, United have Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho on their priority list followed by Aston Villa striker Jack Grealish and both players, with the addition of Jude in the list, Red Devils are out for big spending in summer despite the impact of Covid-19 pandemic lockdown on most European clubs' finances.
Jadon has been closely monitored by some top-flight since last season but with £100m demanded in fee by the German side, the race to sign him gradually fell on United's lap. Meanwhile, Borussia's chief executive Joachim Watzke revealed the club would prefer to keep the winger.
United loanee, Odion Ighalo, is missing out on the club choice of preference for signing despite having a buyout of just £20 million in his contract with Shanghai Shenhua. The Chinese side fended off United from retaining hin when they offered the forward a new two-contract with wage-increase of £400,000-a-week.
Mind you, Lyon striker Moussa Dembele has favoured a transfer to Old Trafford over Chelsea and the Frenchman is not available for a fee lesser than £60 million from the Ligue 1 side. Signing Dembele will see United spending nearly £300 million as Daily Star reported that they are confident of doing business with the forward in summer.
For Grealish, Villa demand £70m in fee from United. Adding all the fees together, put United out for big spending in summer unless there is a breakdown in deal talks for any of the players.
