Manchester United: Inter Milan Want Alexis Sanchez's Loan Extended
Inter Milan are making moves to extend Alexis Sanchez's contract until the end of the Italian Series A season which has been forced to be longer than June following an outbreak of a virus infection.
Alexis joined the side from Manchester United on a season-long deal last summer but it has not been an impressive spell for him at the club. However, the Italians want him to finish the season with them anyways according to the club's sporting director Piero Ausilio.
"Our will is to end the season with all these players. If their contracts are ending, we are going to deal with the situation," Ausilio reportedly said.
The former Arsenal's move to United was highly talked about with high expectations but turned out to flop despite earning £450,000/week wages.
He added, "We rely on Sanchez in these [next few] months, above all to be able to give a definitive evaluation of this player, who was injured and couldn't play for a long time."
