Manchester City Have Block Leroy Sane's Rumoured Move To Bayern Munich

Manchester City have maintained their interest in Leroy Sane to remain at the club despite reported claims that the winger has agreed to deal to join Bayern Munich in summer.

The speculations that Bayern and Sane have agreed a £35 million contract came crushing down after City's position on the player was revealed that they rather allow him to enter into the final year of his contract than sell him cheap to the Bundesliga side from which they had demanded a fee of £100million last summer.

Sane valuation has dropped sporadically after a season-long injury-spell after his spectacular performance a season earlier that led City to win a domestic treble - first time for a team in the Premier League to achieve in a single season.

Since Arjen Robbin and Frank Ribery's retirement from Bayern in June 2018, the Bundesliga side has been keen on signing their replacement and Coutinho Philippe whom they signed on loan from Barcelona in anticipation to replace the two players is yet a flop. They will be sending him back to Spain after his loan spell rather than trigger the cause to retain him.

The former Schalke player is believed to be fine to play for City when football games resume in the Premier League which is set for June over the coronavirus pandemic lockdown.
