Manchester City Are Coming After Paris Saint Germain's Youngster, Edouard Michut

Manchester City are reportedly planning to sign Paris Saint Germain's teenage player Edouard Michut by the next transfer window.

Unlike the Premier League, their Ligue 1 counterparts have been declared champions of the season after the French government canceled the remaining part of the season impeded by the Covid-19 lockdown.

City understood that the midfielder has until 2021 in his contract with PSG and are considering buying him out of the contract and seal a deal with the Ligue champions in summer for his move to Etihad Stadium.

The Premier League is set to resume in June and games are speculated to be held behind close-doors over fears of coronavirus infections. Thus, City are understood by Sky Sports to have a second plan should PSG turn down the offer and might choose to wait until the starlet's contract expires next season.

Michut, 17, who has been likened to Barcelona star forward, Lionel Messi, is reportedly closely monitored by Nou Camp scouts. Technically, Barcelona and City are in the race to sign him and that explained the reason for City's plan to buy him out of his contract with PSG.
