La Liga To Reopen Collective Training From June 1

La Liga clubs will commence collective training from the first day of next month following a statement released by the league as the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown begins to ease which forced the game to go on break since mid-March.

La Liga said in a statement confirmed that the clubs will start collective training from Monday, June 1," in the lead to the date when the league is scheduled to restart after the lockdown.

The race to the league title was tight between Barcelona and Real Madrid with a two-point difference before the game was suspended in March. Besides the title, the race to make the top four is also close as Sevilla and Real Sociedad lead the closest team by a maximum of five points.

It went on to say, "The fourth phase, which starts next Monday, is the last step in this protocol that will lead to clubs starting competition on June 11."
