Juventus Edge Close On Deal With Chelsea For Jorginho's Transfer
Jorginho is set for a move to Juventus in a £35 million deal that is reportedly close to done with Chelsea for his return to the Italian Serie A in summer after two seasons at Stanford Bridge.
Apparently, the 2019/20 season which has been abruptly screwed by the coronavirus pandemic will be the midfielder's closing spell at Chelsea as the Italians are close to getting a deal with Chelsea according to The Sun via Scottish tabloid The National.
Jorginho was signed to Blues in a fee of £50m plus add-ons of £7m which is set to last for five years in July 2018 under Maurizio Sarri. The former coach is yet interested in his former player and wanted him to reunite with him at Juventus which he joined after a season at Chelsea to replace Massimiliano Allegri last summer.
Jorginho had trained under Sarri at Napoli where he won two trophies in his debut season and left for the London-based club interestingly on the same day as the Juventus manager.
The 28-year-old won the Europa League title with Chelsea in his debut season and has appeared in 91 games in all competitions with nine goals for the side.
