Joaquin Phoenix and Fiance Rooney Mara Expecting First Child Together

Joaquin Phoenix and his fiance Rooney Mara are expecting their first child together after four years of relationship which began after working together on Mary Magdalene.

The actress, 35, and Joaquin announced their engagement last year having dated for three years and both have not had any children in their previous relationships.

The couple lived together in Los Angeles where they have been self-isolating together from the virus pandemic. According to sources close to the couple, Page Six reported that Mara has for a while been wearing baggies to cover-up her baby bump which they suspect must be in its sixth month.

Months after their engagement in July last year, Joaquin told Vanity that from the start, it did not seem like the Side Effects star fancied him which he later realized was wrong. He explained further that they "were just friends, email friends" before it was done on him she was not just a "girl online" but only that she was shy to express herself.

Joaquin, at this time, is in the best time of his career after winning his first Academy Award for his role in Joker as the best male actor of the year. It did not stop there for the 45-year-old actor, he also won for the same film, Golden Globe Award for best male, Bafta Awards for best male, and Screen Actor Guild Award for best outstanding performance for a male actor in a lead role.
