Wolves' Star Raul Jimenez Hints Man. United And Real Madrid His Contract Has No Buyout Clause Amidst
Wolverhampton forward Raul Jimenez, who is linked to both Manchester United and Real Madrid has hinted that his contract has no release clause in an effort to facilitate his exit from Molineux in summer.
The Mexican star joined Wolves in a club-record signing of £30 million in April last year after completing his loan spell from Benfica. Despite having until 2023 in his contract at the club, the two European giant clubs are closely monitoring him having scored 22 goals in 44 appearances in all competitions this season.
United's loanee Odion Ighalo is doing great in the squad but the Nigerian international might return to Shanghai Shenhua after being offered a two-year of £400,000-a-week. There are calls to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to keep the former Watford striker, who has scored four goals in eight appearances in competitions since his arrival in January.
Meanwhile, signing Jimenez will cost both Real and United nothing less than £34.5m according to the player's comment as he claimed that Wolves will not be interested in a fee lesser than the amount they paid to sign him from the Portuguese side.
"They bought me for €40million, they won't sell me for less. There is no release clause," said the 28-year-old confirming his link to the two top-flight clubs.
