Paris Saint Germain Plan Offering Neymar Jr. £640,000/Week Contract To Ward Off Barcelona

Neymar Jr. might have to stay in Paris as Paris Saint Germain have thrown a massive deal at him in their conquest to stop his return to Catalan in summer amidst Barcelona's interest.

Barcelona revisited their interest to bring Neymar back to Spain after talks with PSG failed last season, consolidating their transfer bid for the Brazilian by offering three players - Samuel Dembele, Philippe Coutinho, and Antonio Greizmann - in exchange plus £115million contract.

Losing Neymar can spell a serious problem for PSG in the attack with a number of their players considering leaving in summer especially Kylian Mbappe, who is linked to Real Madrid. To avert an impending problem in the attack, they are reportedly considering contract extension until 2025 with a net fee of £33 million (€34M) for him according to Daily Star.

Neymar stands to earn £640,000/week from this prospective new deal and that will make him the third highest-paid player in the world after Cristiano Ronaldo (Juventus) and Lionel Messi (Barcelona).

The need for Neymar at Nou Camp is key as they deemed him as suitable to replace Luiz Suarez in the attack, however, Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez has also been lined up for a transfer in summer, but the Brazilian would work out effortlessly than any other newly introduced player based on his experience at the club.

Neymar left the Spaniards in a world-record signing of £198 million in 2017 and since his arrival has Parc des Princes, he has won the Ligue 1 title for the side back-to-back. Mind you, he had a poor relationship with the club at some point last season which resulted in his quest to leave.
