Odion Ighalo Reveals Manchester United Future Says "No Offer Yet"

Manchester United loanee Odion Ighalo is yet uncertain about his future at Old Trafford as he revealed the club is yet to make an offer as he counts down to the end of his contract in June.

Ighalo was actually meant to end his loan contract in May but the current lockdown of cities across Europe, which also has resulted in league matches to be suspended has forced the club's hands to extend his spell by a month.

There have been many calls for the former Watford player to stay but as United is linked to players like Harry Kane (Tottenham) and Jadon Sancho (Borussia Dortmund), the chances of retaining him to a permanent contract in summer are very slim.

Confirming the uncertainty surrounding his future at the club, Ighalo told Elegbete TV, "There is no offer on the table yet because the season is still on" which meant his loan deal is still running.

However, it is not really that he would have to where to turn after completing his spell as his loaners Shanghai Shenhua have offered him a two-year contract extension with wage-increase of £400,000-a-week. Renewing the contract will keep him at the Chinese Super League side until 2024.

"You don't just rush and do things," he added. "I have to sit down and finish the season well, sit down with my agent, see what's on the ground: A, B, C, D is on the ground. Okay, we have to pick."
