Jorginho's Agent Is Confident Player Will Sign New Deal With Chelsea Despite Juventus Link
Former Chelsea manager Sarri Mauricio has lined up his former midfielder at the club Jorginho for a transfer to join him at Juventus in summer amidst claims by the player's agent that his client will stay at the club.
Joao Santos did not deny having heard about the speculations that his client, Jorginho's link to Juventus, but maintained the player will not leave as rumoured, rather might soon enter into talks with the Chelsea for a new contract.
"I read that, but I never had contact with them," Santo clarified in an interview with Calciomercato. "As of today, I know absolutely nothing about this situation. The lad is very happy in London."
Sarri is understood to be considering including his midfielder Federico Bernardeschi in his offer to bolster this move for Jorginho. By the way, Sarri signed the 28-year-old to Chelsea in a £57.4 million contract in 2017 from Napoli during his one season one spell at Stanford Bridge.
Santos, however, is almost certain his client will soon secure a new with the club as he said: "In fact, In July there's the possibility we can start talks to add a fourth and extend his contract with Chelsea.
N'Golo Kante is reportedly another Chelsea player linked to Juventus boss but the Italian manager reportedly keen on Jorginho than he is on N'Golo, which potentially seemed like a factor of his relationship with the Brazilian since his days at Napoli.
