Jadon Sancho Snubs Chelsea For Move To Manchester United

Chelsea have been forced to look the other way as their conquest to win Jadon Sancho's interest to leave Borussia Dortmund for Stanford Bridge has failed. They are now considering Bayern Munich loanee Philippe Coutinho instead.

Barcelona already are not keen on having Coutinho back at Nou Camp after his loan spell to Bayern, with Chelsea showing interest in the Brazilian, that might set the attacking midfielder for a Premier League return since neither Barcelona nor Bayern want to keep him.

Since Chelsea are out of the race, Jadon is understood to have favoured a move to Manchester United in summer. Yet, United are not alone in the race for the winger, who is also linked to Liverpool and Paris Saint Germain.

The 20-year-old was signed by the Germans from City and has been in sensational form ever since which has won the attention of top-flight clubs in the continent. This season alone, Jadon has 23 league games scored 14 goals.

Unlike loanee Odion Ighalo whose transfer fee is £15 million, Jadon is expected to cost United a whopping £105 million as demanded by Dortmund. Meanwhile, that price comes cheaper than that of Tottenham Hotspur's striker Harry Kane, who is also linked to United with a transfer fee of £150 million.
