Hakim Ziyech Is Certain About Becoming Chelsea Player In Summer
Hakim Ziyech is Chelsea-bound in summer and he is certain about his future at Stanford Bridge, the only worries he has is the delay that the football suspension over coronavirus outbreak can cause to the transfer window.
"After I signed the contract that was it - on July 1 I am a Chelsea player," Dutch tabloid AD quoted him as saying. "It's nice for me to have some clarity. Nobody knows exactly what will happen to the transfer market."
The Ajax agreed to a £33.3 million contract with Chelsea ahead of the summer transfer window in February and the five-year deal is slated to take an effect on July 1. The move will be his first Premier League spell that will start off at Chelsea.
Speaking about his concern about the lockdown across European countries over the deadly bug outbreak and his worries for his health, he added: "The question is when countries will really open again and I can safely start there."
Ajax played a vital role in Ajax Champions League semi-final ties with Tottenham Hotspurs who kicked them out of the competition on away goals in an aggregate of 3-3 - the Moroccan scored Ajax's second goal in the second-leg tie.
