French Montana Says Covid-19 Lockdown Will Cause Many Garage Auctioning Of Rappers' Belongings
The music industry, as known to many, is made of big money spenders especially hip hop artists, who are known to live lavishly - obvious about them in their songs and everyday lifestyle. That luxurious way of life may have just been interrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown, inflicting financial hardship on many according to apper French Montana.
Montana is certain that many rappers definitely are finding the lockdown hard to deal with, without a doubt, it must have taken a devastating toll on their income since most of them live paycheque to paycheque without considering having a sort of passive income neither do they have any monies saved in the bank or at home.
"Since I've been working, I always spend and save because I always dream about a beautiful exit [from the music industry] one day. I always save money for raining day like this," he said.
TMZ hosted the Unforgettable rapper in an interview online and he confessed to Harvey Robert and Charles Latibeaudiere, that people are going to see a lot of garage auctions when the lockdown is lifted. Besides that, most artists do not have any forms of retirement plan at all.
He added, "You don't see something like this coming. So, there is a lot of artists out there that live cheque to cheque. There's going to be a lot of garage auction. I'll tell you that much."
When asked about what he would like to do besides music, Montana revealed he already had a plan to switch career to the film industry and has been trying his hands of directing films. Directing, he revealed is something he loves to do
