Drake Splashes $400K On Mattress


How does it feel like to lay down lazy in a mattress worth nearly half-a-million dollars? That is what Drake can answer as he has a piece of such an expensive item in his mansion.

Drake lives in a massive mansion in his hometown in Candana and his dream-come-true home comes with the state-of-the-art facilities that include a full recording studio, an NBA regulated-size court, name it, he has them all. Amongst the fabulously costly possessions that he has in his mansion is a mattress that costs him $395,000 for just a piece.

The mattress, Grand Vividus, is a product made in Sweden by a company called Hasten. What is incredible about this mattress is that it reportedly took the company 600 hours (25 days) to finish it. Drake might have to never bother himself about buying a new one because the manufacturer assured him it is made to last for possibly a century - between 50-100 years.

"The bed lets you float, the shower lets you escape and gather your thoughts, and the closest makes you want to talk to yourself while you're getting dressed," Drake gushed about the wonders that he house brings to his life.

Drake appeared on the cover story of Architectural Digest issue for April, which gave his fans a glimpse of what the inside of his 50,000 square-foot mansion is like. The interior was nothing short of the class of the Hotline Bling rapper. is made of.

"Because I was building in my hometown, I wanted the structure to stand for 100 years," Drake said about his multi-million dollar mansion in the issue. "It will be one of the things I leave behind, so it had to be timeless and strong."

The bedroom that housed the $395k mattress is 3,500 square-foot with a 1,100-square-foot terrace. He described this space as a spot where he "decompress from the world at night.
