Borussia Dortmund Wants To Keep Jando Sancho By Offering One-Year Contract Extension Of £9M
Borussia Dortmund are reportedly planning to launch a move to keep Jadon Sancho by extending his contract and ward off every interest in the player from their Premier League counterparts. They are just about to make him the second-highest-paid player at the club.
Jadon has until 2022 in his contract with Dortmund and has proven himself to be worthy of keeping for having scored 14 goals with 16 assists in all 23 appearances for the club. His performance at the club since his arrival in 2017 has won over to him, the attention of top-flight clubs.
The former Manchester City starlet is strongly linked to two Premier League giants - Manchester United and Chelsea - for a transfer in summer but the Bundesliga are considering wooing the winger a one-year deal of £9 million which will extend his contract until 2023.
Dortmund are reportedly confident they can keep him and his transfer fee of £120 million they are willing to reduce otherwise a deal will not be agreed on for him. However, there are speculations that Jadon is already in talks with United and was close to agreeing to a deal with the club last week according to The Sun.
Losing the 21-year-old is not want the Germans wanted and wanted him because of his compatibility with the Erling Haaland, who they signed from Red Bull Salzburg in January.
