Wonder Woman 1984 Gets New Release Date

Patty Jenkins directed film Wonder Woman 1984 is set for a new release date as Warner Bros. has canceled its previous plan to release the film on 5 June following the coronavirus health crisis.

As the Covid-19 pandemic continues to rage through every country, the movie industry has not been an exemption as film productions have been halted and a series of changes have been made to films' release dates. No doubt, the outbreak is tearing down every activity and forcing unintended changes to be made.

Wonder Woman will yet be released in summer this year as Variety revealed that the new date for the Gal Gadot's starring film will hit the cinemas on August 14, 2020. Wonder Woman is not alone in this situation, films like James Bond and Fast and Furious 9 have also changed their release dates.

Warner Bros. initially planned to give the film an on-demand meaning via streaming platforms but later changed mind and worked out a suitable date for a cinema release instead.
