Warner Bros. To Start Filming Of 'Fantastic Beasts 3'


Warner Bros. will not be changing plans on the filming of the third entry of the Fantastic Beasts which will be kicking off as planned initially on March 18 in San de Janeiro, Brazil.

There have been a couple of cancellations of films' released dates these past weeks with Fast and Furious 9, No Time To Die, A Quiet Place 2 and Mullan announcing changes made to release dates for  COVID-19 virus outbreak which has claimed more than a thousand lives globally.

Fantastic Beasts is a spin-off of the Harry Potter film series - the parent franchise. The David Yates' directed has been successful at the box office with the two previous entries having a total cume of $1.466 billion in gross globally. More so, Fantastic beast 3 release date remains unchanged from its scheduled date of release on November 12, 2021.

Nevertheless, bear in mind things could change along the line as teased by Variety's reporter Justin Kroll in a tweeted message on Friday that "WB is not planning on shutting down productions based on Disney decision" to carry on with filming.

British lead actor Eddie Redmayne will be reprising his role as Newt Scamander in Fantastic Beast 3, and likewise, Katherine Waterston as Tina Goldstein, Johnny Depp from Pirate of the Caribbean will return as Gellert Grindelwald and Ezra Miller as Credence Barebone.
