Tom Brady Signs Contract With Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tanpa Bay Buccaneers have signed Tom Brady to a contract after the six-time Super Bowl winner left his former franchise New England Patriots.
Brady won his last Super Bowl with Patriots in a 13-3 victory against Los Angeles Rams in 2019 but did not renew his contract with the side to be a free agent this off-season.
"Excited, humble and hungry...If there is one thing I have learned about football, it's that nobody cares what you did last year or the year before that," the four-time MVP wrote in an Instagram picture update announcing the contract secured with Buccaneers.
He added, "You earn the trust and respect of those around through your commitment every single day. I'm starting a new football journey and thankful for the @buccaneers for giving me an opportunity to do what I love to do."
The 42-year-old spent 20 years of his career with Patriots during that spell he won six Super Bowls with the team - 2002, 2004, 2005, 2015, 2017, and 2019 - which is the biggest won by a player with a single franchise.
