The Batman, The Matrix 4 May Get New Release Date As Production Is Shut Down

The Batman film will be starring a new actor in the lead role after Ben Affleck dropped the cap last year, unfortunately, the film production has been hit by the Covid-19 virus outbreak and that might force the released date to be pushed back. What a debut that is for Robert Pattinson?

No statements have been issued in this regard, but reports are having it that there are possibilities that The Batman and The Matrix 4 release dates might change following the on-going lockdown in most European countries and the United States which has caused directors' to suspend film productions.

Already, there have been many changing made to release date of some films amongst which is Vin Diesel and Johnson Dwayne starring film Fast and Furious 9 which date has been suspended until 2 April 2020. The upcoming James Bond film 'No Time To Die' and Daniel Craig's final appearance in the franchise will now be released on November 12.

As it is with the out-going global health crisis, Batman director Matt Reeves who had previously suspended production for two weeks is now forced to shut down production as the United Kingdom - where he has been shooting scenes - is on lockdown. Production is not expected to resume not until the ending of April or the middle of May for both The Batman and the Matrix 4.

It took over a year before Warner Bros. officially unveiled Robert Pattinson as Ben Affleck's replacement after stepping down the role in January last year. The Twilight actor outclassed Nicolas Hoult in a mock screen test in May 2019 before he was offered the role.
