Tahith Chong Renews Contract With Manchester United
Manchester United's winger Tahith Chong has extended his stay at Old Trafford until 2022 after signing a contract extension with the club on Monday.
Tahith described his spell at Old Trafford as one he has always dreamed of as a youngster and having to represent the club is such "a dream come true" and whenever "pull on the shirt" he feels honoured.
The 20-year-old started his football career at the Dutch side Feyenoord and joined United Under-18 in 2016. Since his promotion to the senior team in 2018, he has scored two goals in 18 appearances in all competitions.
He added: "The opportunity to learn from the manager, his coaching staff and the world-class players here is fantastic. I am delighted to sign this new contract and really grateful for the chance to prove myself here for many years to come."
Solksjaer has been able to keep United in an applaudable form as Red Devils have gone 10 games unbeaten and are still in the contest for two titles - the Uefa Europa League and FA Cup.
