Roy Hodgson Extends Contract With Crystal Palace For Another Season
Former England manager Roy Hodgson will be staying at Crystal Palace for yet another season after signing a one-year contract extension with the club.
Roy has been at Selhurst Park Stadium since stepping down his role as Three Lions caretaker manager in 2017-18 and has led the side through since without having a trophy to his name but they have been doing bad in the Premier League as they are in 12th position.
The 72-year-old described the deal as one that he is "proud" and without a doubt "delighted" to reach the club whose team he has presided over for nearly three seasons.
"I am proud of what we have achieved since I was appointed two-and-a-half years ago, and I look forward to us working together for the foreseeable future," Roy said in a statement. "
Palace's Chairman Steve Parish also confirmed the contract extension signed by Roy and praised him for the "excellent relationship he has built with everyone at the club."
