LeBron James Threatens Not To Play In L.A Lakers' Games Behind Closed Doors Over Coronavirus Outbreak

LeBron James is not having the proposition by the NBA that teams should be prepared to play games behind closed doors following the outbreak of Coronavirus and has threatened Los Angeles Lakers not to play in such games.

Lakers are guaranteed of making the NBA playoffs for the first time since 2013 as they are on the top spot the Western Conference. They past Milwaukee Bucks by 113-103 on Friday with LeBron James leading the standouts with 37 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists.

When asked by the EPSN on playing behind close doors for Lakers, the three-time NBA MVP responded that he would not be playing if that be the case because fans and his teammates are the reasons he is in the sport.

"Nah, that's impossible. I ain't playing. If I ain't got the fans in the crowd" he said who has been instrumental to Lakers' impressive performance this season and leads the side with the most treble-doubles in this term with 13 - he is second only behind Luka Doncic (14) of Dallas Mavericks.

Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, more than 100,000 infected persons have been recorded globally with more than 3,200 fatalities, most of which are recorded in Wuhan, China.

James added, "That would be boring. They might as well cancel the whole game before that. That would suck. But at the end of the day, it is getting serious. I don't know."
