James Bond Gets New Release Date Following Coronavirus Outbreak
The outbreak of the deadly disease, Coronavirus, has forced the producers of James Bond film, 'No Time To Die' to postpone the film's release date.
Fans of the icon British spy film called for the rescheduling of the film's premiering over the bug outbreak in a letter released to their website on Tuesday, with the claims that one infected person among the invitees might spell doom for everyone else.
In a statement posted on the film's official Twitter account, the studios, MGM and Universal, it was revealed that the date has been moved forward until November when it is expected that the bug's spread should have subsided if not eliminated.
"MGM, Universal, and Bond producers, Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, announced today that after careful consideration and thorough evaluation of the global theatrical marketplace, the release of NO TIME TO DIE will be postponed until November 2020."
Initially, the film was scheduled to premiere on March 31 at the Royal Albert Hall in London before its theatrical release on April 2. The film will be Daniel Craig's last appearance, and at the same time, Lashana Lynch will be making her debut appearance in the film as the female version of 007.
The theme song of the film is co-written and producer by Billie Eilish. Being a teenager, 18, she is the youngest ever to write and produce a song for the franchise.
