Anthony Joshua v Kubrat Pulev Fight Date Announced
Anthony Joshua will be back in the ring with his three heavyweight titles on the line in a fight against Bulgarian fighter, Kubrat Pulev in summer.
Top on Anthony Joshua's priority is actually WBC champion Tyson Fury but he would not unless after the mandatory challenge fight with Kubrat which will be staged at Tottenham Stadium in London.
Joshua announced the date for his fight with the Bulgarian to be on June 20 in a Twitter picture update on Monday. It will be his first fight in London in two years since his bout with Alexander Povetkin at Wembley. Joshua will be the first British boxer to host a heavyweight fight at the stadium.
"I'm back in my home city after some time away," he said. "A spectacular stadium has been built in north London and I'm honoured to bring the boxing community from all over the world to witness us make history with the stadium's first heavyweight world title fight."
The two-time heavyweight champion reclaimed his WBO, WBA, and IBF from Mexican-American fighter Andy Ruiz Jr. in a rematch in Saudi Arabia after he had lost the first fight to the Mexican at Madison Square in New York.
