These Serie A Matches Are Postponed Over Fears Of Coronavirus
Italy has one of the highest numbers of the coronavirus victim, with over 300 people quarantined for contracting the virus and 12 dead as a result. To that effect, the league postponed four matches last weekend, and this weekend, five fixtures have been postponed until May.
Fixtures postponed until 13 May are those previously meant to hold tomorrow, Sunday: Juventus v Inter Milan, Udinese v Fiorentina, AC Milan v Genoa, Parma v Spal, Sassuolo v Brescia.
Just as Serie A, there are fears the outbreak of the virus might also impact on Liverpool day of lifting the Premier League trophy which they are in the lead win as matches might be postponed over fears of the virus if victim increase in number.
Aside from those postponed matches, every fixture scheduled for today will go on as scheduled and not behind closed door as Serie A initially thought of Juve's and others' league games before they were postponed until May.
