Sylvester Stallone Suggests Having Statue Of Kobe Bryant In Philadelphia

Sylvester Stallone has an opinion on how best deceased NBA star Kobe Bryant should be celebrated quite differently from how his former team, Los Angeles Lakers, would have suggested.

Though the late two-time NBA MVP never played for the franchise of his hometown, Philadelphia 76ers, the awards winning artist has suggested that having a statue erected in his memory will the city where he was born can be one of the best ways to honour him.

Stallone was approached by a team of reporters who asked him on his opinion on having the NBA legend's statue in Philadelphia and he wasted no time to agree by saying "yes" to that. He even has a statue of himself in that in the same city for his role in 'Rock' as a boxer.

Bryant died in a helicopter crash on Sunday last week in Los Angeles alongside eight other passengers amongst which was his daughter, Gianna, 13. The bodies of all the crash victims have been recovered.
