Roger Federer Rules Out Participating In French Open

Roger Federer has ruled out participating at this year's French Open for a right knee injury which he is been treated for by his doctor and they are optimistic he soon be back.

The 20-time Grand Slam winner was denied his seventh Australian Open title by Novak Djokovic who outclassed him to retain status as the tour's all-time biggest winner with eight titles.

Federer has not been appearing at the competition until last year and reached the semi-final. Since his doctors advised him to have an arthroscopic surgery done, he will yet be out of French Open this season.

It appears the Swede will not be back anytime soon until grass-court competition as he said, "See you on the grass." In effect, he will not be coming to Indian Well, Dubai, Miami, and Barcelona.
