Premier League: Mikel Arteta Secures First Back-To-Back League Game Win With Arsenal After Beating Everton
Arsenal recovered from a goal deficit to beat Everton by 3-2 at Emirates Stadium with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scoring twice, nevertheless, moving up the table remain sluggish for the side as they climbed a notch up to be in the ninth position.
Having to secure a victory against Everton marked Gunners' second consecutive league game wins under Mikel Arteta and the Spaniard's first back-to-back league game victory since his appointment in December to replace former head coach Unai Emery.
Arsenal ended the winless run last Sunday when they defeated Newcastle United 4-0 and that was their second league game win since their first win since New Year's Day when they beat Manchester United 2-0.
The kick-off was not the best Arsenal would have wanted as Everton were able to found the back of Arsenal's net in less than a minute into the game from Dominic Calvert-Lewin's bicycle kick from close range that beat Leno following Gylfi Sigurdsson's free-kick.

Arsenal recovered with Bukayo Saka producing the cross that found Eddie Nketiah for a jab into the net and David Luiz laid a through pass that Aubameyang ran into and smacked it home for the second goal. Unfortunately, Richarlison deflected a header into the net and leveled the scores for Everton just before the halftime break.
The winning goal was sealed by Aubameyang with a brilliant header from Nicolas Pepe's cross just a minute after the break. They held to the lead through to full-time.
Meanwhile, Everton made more chances than their hosts but failed to capitalize enough on the opportunities to get at least a point off the game. On the other hand, Arteta, in his words after the match, was pleased with his team's performance especially with the way they remain resilient even when they are "knackered".
