Premier League: Ismaila Sarr Leads Watford To End Liverpool's Unbeaten Run
Liverpool unbeaten run has come to an end to struggling side Watford by massive 3-0 at Vicarage Road and trimmed their title race down to 19-point clear closest team.
Reds had all their star players on the pitch, yet Watford gave them their first defeat in over a calendar year with Ismaila Sarr scoring twice to seal the victory that lifted the side out of the red zone to 17th position.
Watford became the first team in the Premier League to beat Liverpool since they were beaten by Manchester City in 2019 whilst the hosts ended their winless streak after eight league games by beating the table leaders.
Hornets had a couple of chances more than Reds in the first half and broke the deadlock after the break with Sarr tapping Chalobah's pass from close range into the net for the first goal and followed up with the second by lobbing the ball over Alisson six minutes later.

Adam Lallana was close netting a goal for Reds after Sarr's double but clipped the pole, then comes Deeney with the winning goal following Trent Alexander-Arnold's erroneous back pass.
Liverpool are still in a comfortable position for the league title only that their 18 league games streak just got smashed by a struggling team like Hornets. Reds are yet to recover from their 1-0 loss to Atletico Madrid in the first-leg tie of the Champions League Last 16 on Tuesday. They will host the Spaniards for the second-leg tie on Wednesday at Anfield.
