Premier League: Bruno Fernandes' Debut With Manchester United Ends In Goalless Draw Against Wolves

Manchester United made a couple of signings in this transfer window that closed on Friday, however, giving that attacker a bolstering with the signing of Bruno Fernandes could not land them the victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford.

United played a goalless draw with the opponents despite having the upper hand in ball possession and the newly-signed striker could break the deadlock either. Bruno was able to fire five shots at the target during the game but none could beat the opponents' defense to the post.

"I think Wolves are a very well organized team and well structured," says Ole Gunnar Solksjaer. "Especially in the first half, we didn't have enough movement. Anthony [Martial] was behind them and we didn't create anything in the first half. The second half was much better [for the team]."

Aside from the shots recorded by Bruno, United did have a scoring chance in the last minute of the game when Digo Dalot headed just wide a cross from Aaron Wan-Bissaka. In the end, Red Devils dropped a place down the table to trail behind Sheffield United in the sixth position with 35 points.
