Premier League: Arsenal Draw With Burnley For Fourth League Game Stalemate In A Row
Arsenal have neither win or lose in four consecutive league matches as the shared points with Burnley in a goalless draw and they remained in the middle of the table with 31 points.
Last time Gunners won a league game was the 2-0 victory against Manchester United on New Year's Day and have remained unbeaten ever since in all seven games played in all competitions.
There was meant to be a winner, that should have been Arsenal but two good chances were wasted by both Pierre-Emerick Aubamyang and Alexander Lacazette. The Gabonese striker was returning from a three-match ban and the chance he had was at close-range from David Luiz's cross but miss fired the shot.
Clarets also had a fair share of chances with Jay Rodriguez and Jeff Hendrick both attempted shots at the target but missed the goal. Another instance was James Tarkowski's header missing the goal by just a few inches.
Since Mikel Arteta took over from former interim head coach Freddie Ljungberg, he has in nine games, won three games and lost one with the team. Gunners have for the first time since 2009, gone four league matches in a row without winning any.
