The Argentine's five seasons spell at the West London side came to an end following Spurs' five league games losing run that saw the team dropped dangerously down in the EPL table. That was the 47-year-old worst performance since his arrival at White Hart Lane from Southampton in 2014.
He jetted out of the United Kingdom to his home country for a reunion with his family. Nevertheless, he has been opened on his desire to remain in Europe which he admitted to that during a discussion with Natalie Pinkham of Sky Sports on In The Pink Podcast.

"To be honest I would love to work in the Premier League. It's going to be difficult," he told Natalie. "I know, and for now it's a moment to wait and we'll see what happens. It's a moment of recovery, to think yourself a little bit, and to be ready because in football always something can happen and you need to be ready."
Pochettino led the club to their first-ever Champions League Final appearance which they lost to Liverpool. Shortly after his dismissal, he was rumoured to be linked to Bayern Munich, a potential move that is not expected to happen until summer if at all the Bundesliga side is keen on him.
Speaking on his desire to return to management, he sounded like he has had enough of holidaying in Argentina and is now "ready and waiting for a new challenge" from any clubs interested in hiring him.
He added: "Of course I feel very proud about everything I achieved at Tottenham and When I analyzed my time there, plenty of positive things happened."
