Manchester United Get Lifeline To Sign Moussa Dembele From Lyon
Moussa Dembele, potentially, will be heading to the Premier League and possibly to Manchester United after the Lyon confirmed their willingness to sell a number of star players in their team.
United have for a while been monitoring the Frenchman's performance in Ligue 1 with the plan to strengthen their attack as they fight to restore their glorious days which has been a struggle for them ever since former head coach Sir Alex Ferguson stepped down.
Though Reds Devils signed Nigerian international Odion Ighalo from the Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua on Deadline Day, still, the club's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward reportedly wants the club to sign yet another striker in summer.
Meanwhile, they are not alone in the race for the 23-year-old as Chelsea are understood to also be interested in the striker, but United have on the table, a deal of a £150,000-a-week for the player.
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas revealed in a statement that they "have a certain number of offers for offers" for their players who want to leave the club in summer and they will not be standing in their way to leave the club.
