Manchester United Desperately Want To Sell Alexis Sanchez
The Chilean joined Red Devils in a contract that last until 2022 with £400,000-a-week wages but gradually fell out of favour with United and was loaned out to the Italian side alongside Romelu Lukaku who joined the Italian in a permanent deal.
Since Inter do not seem to be interested in triggering an option to retain the former Arsenal player at San Siro, they will be sending him back to Manchester and Ole Gunnar Solksjaer admitted the Chilean will be back from Italy as he said, "Alexis will be back in the summer".
However, the statement might sound warmth towards the 31-year-old but United are understood to be in a desperate move to sell unless at a fee that is satisfying to the club to make up for their expenses on him.
Sanchez on lasted for a season and a half at Old Trafford and contrary to expectations that he would be different under Antonio Conte, he has only made seven league games appearances and contributed to Inter's 4-2 win over AC Milan on Sunday. Nevertheless, he has only scored once since he arrived in San Siro in August.
