Leganes Laments Over Martin Braithwaite's Shock Move To Barcelona

Leganes has confessed they have been left to be struggling and faced with "enormous" challenges since their striker Martin Braithwaite was aggressively signed to a deal with Barcelona outside of the transfer window.

The struggling Spaniards were opened about their displeasure in the manners by which Barca took Martin away from them to Nou Camp. Their director general Martin Ortega frowned at the move but could not stop it as Barca was given special approval to do so in other to make up for their players ruled out for injuries.

In a statement released by Leganes, they clearly expressed their frustration of the impact of the player's exit, calling the decision to allow Barca to sign their striker outside the transfer window as an "unfair regulation".

The statement argued that: "It goes against the integrity of the competition and the right of all clubs to compete in equal condition and has caused enormous and serious damage to the club."

In spite of the 28-year-old's move to Nou Camp to make up for injured Ousmane Dembele, who has been ruled out for the rest of the season, the Danish player will only feature in league games with Barca and not in the Champions League because they have already submitted the list of players for the knockout stages.
