Juventus Want To Lure Man City Manager Pep Guardiola To Italy In Summer


Manchester City are going to have to fight to keep Pep Guardiola as Juventus are cooking up a desperate plan to launch a raid on the their manager in summer.

Guardiola has time over time expressed his satisfaction at City and also confident that the squad he has been able to build make survive with or without following a recent comment credited to him that they "big enough and good enough" to carry on without him.

Juve's president, Andrea Angnelli, is one big fan of the Spaniard and he is believed to want to try his luck and lure him over to Italy by the end of this season. That attempt will definitely put Maurizio Sarri's job on the line.

Sarri has not spent longer that a season after the club that he joined from Chelsea in summer after leading the West London club to win the Europa League title. He was appointed as Max Allegri's replacement after the former head coach stepped down to go on sabbatical having won five consecutive Italian Serie A titles with the club.

Guardiola has in every stint been a high achieving manager. He led City to win the Premier League back-to-back last season during which he completed a domestic treble with FA Cup and EFL Cup with the club to be the first manager ever to attain the feat in English football history.
