Yussef punished Gunners for sloppy defensive play and ran into the six-yard box for a header from Giorgos Masouras' cross and pounded in the winning goal. That left Gunners' stunned completely.

Aubameyang had a glaring chance to push Arsenal through after Yussef's stunning winning goal, but the Gabonese forward, on the brink of the final whistle, struck the ball amiss the goal from close range.

The defeat means Mikel Arteta has missed out on his race for his first title for Arsenal. Making the Champions League appearance next season not within reach for Arsenal as they are ninth in the Premier League. Now, they left with the FA Cup as they only trophy in view for the side.
