Deontay Wilder Declares Intention To Trigger Rematch Clause To Fight Tyson Fury

Deontay Wilder has assured his fans, and his conquest, Tyson Fury, that there is definitely going to be a third fight and warned that he "will rise again" to reclaim the WBC heavyweight title he lost last weekend.

Fury became the WBC heavyweight champion in a rematch fight that ended in a seven-round knockout of Wilder. It was such a disappointing fight for the American who was bathed in his own blood gushing out of his left ear, mouth, and nose. He was rushed to the hospital shortly after the fight.

In their first fight, Wilder earned a controversial draw with Fury, since there was no compromise on who really was the better fighter, they triggered a rematch, unknowingly, that would spell the end of Wilder's unbeaten run and his reign as the WBC heavyweight champion.

Tyson Fury had floored Deontay Wilder twice before his corner threw in the towel when he was battered with punches in the corner

"Your King is here and we ain't going nowhere, for the war has just begun," he teased of triggering trilogy as allowed for in the deal in a tweeted clip.

"I will rise again. I am strong. I am a King. You can't take my pride. I am a warrior. I am a King that will never give up. I am a King that will fight to the death.

Wilder, though, has his own theory for his stunning defeat to Fury, and if there is anything he would blame for that, it happened to be his costume which he claimed did some damages to his feet as it was a 40-pound heavy outfit.

In the clip that ran for 99 seconds, Wilder assured the title will be his once again in their third fight. Mind you, he and his team have 30 days to trigger the rematch clause, any time longer than that, Anthony Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn can then work out a deal for his client to fight Fury.
