Chelsea Reach Agreement On Personal Terms With Ajax's Hakim Ziyech

Hakim Ziyech edged close to securing his move to Chelsea from Ajax in summer as an agreement on personal terms has reportedly been reached with him for a five-year deal of £33.3 million.

Chelsea did not make any signing throughout the January transfer window despite the lifting of their transfer ban in December. The Moroccan is set to be Frank Lampard's first signing since his appointment as Blues' head coach last summer.

The Winger described his prospective move to the West London club as one he is "proud" considering the kind of club is and he can not wait to join the side hope to "achieve great things" with.

Blues have since Eden Hazard left the side for Real Madrid been keen to find a replacement and Hakim might just be the attacking midfielder to fill the gap left off by the Belgian's exit. The Moroccan has in 18 league game appearances scored six goals for the Dutch side in this season.
