Billie Eilish Makes History With 'No Time To Die'
Since Billie Eilish released the theme song for the James Bond film 'No Time To Die', it has been making huge waves for her on streaming platforms and likewise on the charts.
'No Time To Die' is scheduled premiere on 31 March at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall in London before making theatrical release on 3 April. Ahead of these, the pop singer is already scoring massively with the film's theme song which set a new record for 007 single opening week sale.
In its first week, the song recorded 10.6 million streams and in album sales, it hauled in 90,000 sales to upset the previous record set for the film's theme song by Adele's Skyfall (84,000) and Sam Smith's 'The Writings On The Wall (70,000).
Never before has the franchise's theme song did so good both in sales and on streaming as it did with co-written song Eilish's 'No Time To Die'.
The 18-year-old won five Grammy Awards at this year's ceremony and also won the best international song award with her debut song 'When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?' at the Brit Awards on Tuesday.
