Bayern Munich Plotting To Woo Roberto Firmino From Liverpool In Summer

Bayern Munich are reportedly planning to woo Liverpool's attacking midfielder Roberto Firmino with a massive bid in summer despite keeping an eye on Manchester City winger Leroy Sane.

The Bundesliga title defenders have reportedly budgeted a whopping £75 million to scoop the Belgian out of Anfield and Jurgen Klopp is already linked to another attacking midfielder, Timo Werner, from RB Leipzig - a move that might rival the Brazilian's position in the squad.

Meanwhile, Bayern have another versatile midfielder, Philippe Coutino, on loan from Barcelona but they are understood not to be ready to sign the Brazilian to a permanent deal in summer. Barca are not keen on keeping Philippe in Nou Camp either and are reportedly willing to accept a £75 million fee for the 27-year-old from any interested clubs.

Bayern are in a contest against Leipzig to defend the title they have won for seven seasons in a row - from 2012 through 2019 - as they lead by just a point. The introduction of Firmino is expected to give the attack a boost alongside Robert Lewandowski, who has scored 22 goals in 21 league games appearances in this term.

At Liverpool, the 28-year-old played a vital role alongside Mo Salah and Sadio Mane in winning their first Champions League title since 2004/05, EUFA Super Cup and Fifa Club World Cup. They are currently en route winning their first Premier League title since 1989/90 as they lead the table with a massive 22 points clear nearest rivals, Manchester City.
