Barcelona Are Ready To Accept Lower Transfer Fee For Philippe Coutinho
Philippe Coutinho's loan spell to Bayern Munich is unlikely to result in him being retained at the club rather might be on his way back to Barcelona at the end of the season.
The expectation was that the former Liverpool player would be retained at the German club, apparently, that might never happen as they are not convinced he is worth triggering the release clause £109 million despite an impressive spell at the club.
However, since Barcelona are not ready to keep him at Nou Camp, they are willing to accept a lower transfer fee from any interested club. In spite of this, Barca are in need of a replacement for Luiz Saurez who they have lost to a knee injury, nevertheless, they are not keen on taking back the attacking midfielder from Bayern.
Barcelona paid a whopping £130 million fee for the Brazilian, who they signed from Liverpool in 2018, now they have decided to accept as low as £70 million for him in summer.
Before his move to the Bundesliga side in summer, there were speculations Liverpool were interested in him bringing back to Anfield but that was later withdrawn by Jurgen Klopp.
