Adam Lallana To Leave Liverpool In Summer
Adam Lallana will soon be out of contract with Liverpool, and as it is now, he might have to leave in summer if the club did not offer him a new contract by summer.
Liverpool have not discussed a contract extension with the 31-year-old whose contract will run out in summer and even Jurgen Klopp is uncertain if the club will be willing to offer him that, going by his words last month.
"Everything about Adam Lallana, Adam Lallana knows and I know," said Klopp. "What will happen in the future, we will see. But for him, whatever it is - here or somewhere else - the only important thing is he can show he is 100 percent fit."
Whilst it is beginning to look like the England international might suffer the same fate as Daniel Sturridge who left the side for free after contract expiration, three Premier League clubs - Arsenal, Tottenham and Leicester City - are understood to be interested in him.
Spurs are believed to be unamused by the need for the midfielder, but it is a different situation with Arsenal and Leicester, as they might be considering a free transfer as the preferred option since that will take effect with the player from summer.
Lallana has only made 18 appearances with Liverpool in all competitions in this term compared to last season when he made just 16 appearances. Yet, his spell at Anfield has been trophy-ladened winning the Champions League title, UEFA Super Cup and the Fifa Club World Cup with the club he joined in 2014 from Southampton.
