Premier League: Crystal Palace Force Draw Against Manchester City At Etihad
Crystal Palace managed to hold Manchester City to a 2-2 draw from Fernandinho's late goal that canceled out Sergio Aguero's efforts that had put the side in the lead.
A victory for City could have further extended their lead in the second position over Leicester City but Palace played a well-informed defensive game not to give away goal easily, yet Kevin de Bruyne nearly put City ahead but his shot from a free-kick clipped the crossbar.
Palace moved up in the lead from Cenk Tosun's header from close range following a corner before half time. Tosun could have doubled the lead with the second goal following a fast break and drew a foul whilst trying to get past Fernandinho to gain an advantage to ball. He did score but was ruled.
