Premier League: Aubameyang Bags Red Card As Crystal Palace Force Draw Against Arsenal
An early clinical finish from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang gave Arsenal the lead, unfortunately, had himself red-carded for a rough tackle after Crystal Palace had canceled out Gunners' lead for a 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park.
The Gabonese captain was set off for the opening goal with a through ball from Alexander Lacazette and finished it into the bottom left of the post for his sixteenth goal of the season. He will be ruled out for a couple Premier League for a rough tackle that caught Max Meyer's ankle. The referee could not but tick out the red card after VAR reviewed the tackle.
Meanwhile, that incident happened just minutes after Jordan Ayew scored the equalizer for Palace in the 54th minutes as his shot from inside the box was deflected by David Luiz to beat Bernd Leno to the post.

After Aubameyang was sent off, Meyer could not continue the game for pain from the tackle and was subbed with Cenk Tosun. By this time, Palace gained some control of the game as they now play against 10-man Arsenal.
In spite of that, Nicola Pepe was close to lifting Arsenal out with a shot from inside the area that beat Palace's goalkeeper Vicente Guiata only to hit the bar and bounced back out but Lacazette could not get his foot to it before Guiata saved it.
Arsenal finished the game for their 15th winless away games as Crystal Palace maintained unbeaten against Gunners in four consecutive games. Making the top four or six is still a long way to go for Arsenal who are 10th in the table with 28 points.
