Premier League: 10-Man Arsenal Deny Chelsea Victory

Arsenal lived up to expectations despite losing David Luiz to play the rest of the game one man down held Chelsea to a 2-2 draw at Standford Bridge.

The dramatic match witnessed two defensive errors from both sides that cost the teams two much, leading to the first two goals scored by both teams in both halves. Shkodran Mustafi's poor back pass cost them the penalty when Luiz fouled on Tammy Abraham who capitalized on the error and dribbled his way into the box and was tripped.

That challenge landed Luiz the red card and Jirginho converted the spot-kick. After the break, Mustafi's headed out Willian's cross and the ball landed right in front of Gabriel Martinelli who raced with the ball through the center-half as N'Golo Kante tripped in approach and carried on into Blues box before smacking home the equalizer.

Hector Bellerin scored his first goal since 2018 against Bournemouth

It could not be sadder for Chelsea who had regained the lead when Cesar Azpilicueta scored the second goal with six minutes remaining but only for Hector Bellerin smacked home the equalizer from inside the 18-yard box.

It could not be a better dau for Bellerin just returned from injury only to save Arsenal from away defeat to Chelsea and his first goal since January 2018 against Bournemouth.

Chelsea did have some scoring chances but Abraham header went straight Leno for a save and Callum Hudson-Odoi's cross clipped the crossbar.

Arsenal are yet to clinch a league game victory on the road under Mikel Arteta since he took over from Unai Emery in December. Also, Gunners have not conceded in four consecutive league games since New Year's Day.
