Pep Guardiola Rules Out Any Interest In Ever Managing Manchester United
It appears that Pep Guardiola is not a fan of Manchester United neither would he ever wanted a job offer from his opponents instead would prefer jetting out for holidays in the faraway Maldives, in Asia.
Manchester City are not in the Premier League title race this season as Liverpool are clearly on the run for it with a massive lead, however, the Spaniard, 48, has enjoyed a trophy-laden spell at the club that he joined from Bayern Munich in 2016.
Both clubs are just only next-door neighbours in Manchester and based on principles Guardiola explained he can not ever fancy accepting an offer from United just as he would never train Real Madrid for the same reason. Therefore, he explained he would rather "be in the Maldives" on a holiday getaway.
He added, "Maybe not the Maldives because it doesn't have any golf courses but after training City, I won't train United, just like I would never train Madrid."
The 48-year-old was linked to replace former United manager Sir Alex Ferguson who stepped down from the role in 2013. At the time, he was at Bayern Munich where he won three consecutive Bundesliga titles.
Nevertheless, he admitted United is a club that he has an "Incredible respect" for despite their recent performance which is unlike the club. Yet, he believes, "sooner or later they will be in the positions to fight for the Premier League title."
