Paris Saint-Germain To Compete With Inter Milan In Race To Sign Tottenham's Christian Eriksen
Paris Saint-Germain are ready to contend with Inter Milan in the bid to secure a move for Tottenham Hotspurs' player Christian Eriksen as he approaches the end of his spell at White Hart Lane.
Spurs have hit a brick wall on every attempt they have made to get the midfielder to extend his contract, even his manager Jose Mourinho advised him to remain at the club rather than favouring a move but he is unrelenting on his desire to leave in summer.
Talks between Inter and Spurs have reached an advanced stage for a deal offer reportedly set for £14 million and the Ligue 1 leaders believe they can beat that for the 27-year-old.
Eriksen was previously linked to Manchester United but Red Devils relinquished interest in December, leaving the Italian side in the race as it is obvious to Spurs that the player apparently will be leaving at the end of the season.
The Dane has enjoyed a no title spell at Spurs which he joined from Ajax in 2013 except that they reached their first-ever Champions League final appearance last season only to lose to Liverpool who won the title for the first time since 2004/05.
